The Perfect Swedish Cottage
One of our favorite interior design blogs, COCOCOZY, posted this darling Swedish cottage home last week, and we just about fell in love. What is it about Scandinavian design that’s so calming and unique? Those folks have got it goin’ on in design land. It was hard for us to choose our favorite room in this home, which was all about Swedish Gustavian style, but we settled upon the sundrenched atrium, which is, in our minds, practically perfect in every way.
White Wash Your Space
Sometimes, cottage design can get a bit too cutesy, but this space, with its whitewashed walls and floors, seems to get it just right. We love how they’ve got to great lengths to bring the outside in, with the oversized windows and glass roof – plus, did you catch those little orange trees in the front of the room? We bet this Swedish cottage smells amazing. All those freshly cut flowers, plus the scent of the garden wafting in through the open door…talk about a calming spot to catch up over a bottle of wine and some freshly made pasta. Since the whole home is just as beautiful, how about a little tour?

Gosh, this is beautiful. It’s not really even my style, but I am totally wowed. It is so restful looking! I’m totally impressed by it, especially how well it worked out, even with so many existing pieces utilized. Fantastic work.
You’re so sweet! Glad you loved this article.
