Well, it’s officially fall on the East Coast, and we couldn’t be happier.
We’ve been pulling out our leather leggings and our cozy sweaters, snugging up with hot coffees on the couch (in fact, that’s our exact position as we craft this blog post), baking up a storm, heating up hot apple cider for late night movie watching…we’re in heaven! We’re big believers in the mantra, “design is never done.” We’re always switching things up in our home, but nothing gives us more motivation to do so than the changing of the seasons. As summer turns from fall, we find that we crave more metallics and neutrals, as opposed to the bright, summery prints of the warmer season.
We crave burnished metals and reclaimed woods, and a whole lot of pumpkin-scented candles (this line is our favorite). Which is why when we came across this room on Pinterest, we couldn’t help but be totally taken. This beautiful neutral dining space utilizes what look like original hardwood floors, as well as linen, a farmhouse raw wood trestle table, and woven accents to create a perfect marriage of texture and color. The result is a cozy, homey space that we can’t resist.
