Today, we’re getting a sneak peek into not just any apartment, but the apartment. It’s not a real residence, you see – but instead, it’s the innovative showroom of newly launched lifestyle e-commerce site The Line. We’ve been following the venture since it launched a month or so ago (their blog is a must read; it has an incredible editorial feel to it), but seeing the finished space in all its glory (thanks to Lonny) is a whole other thing. The Apartment was designed to look like the quintessential, dream downtown apartment of a well-off twenty something. A chic magazine editor, PR pro, or gallery girl – you know the type. It’s luxe, eclectic, and way more inspiring than the average storefront. The space is set to serve as a home for The Line’s lifestyle venture, and let us tell you, we wouldn’t just buy everything inside The Apartment. We’d move right in.

Look at those old wood plank floors. We’d bet those are original to the building, which sits at 76 Greene Street in Soho.
Can we talk about that sofa? Blue tufted velvet perfection, that one is. And that fur throw…it’s to die for.
The apartment offers the sort of open loft space that most New Yorkers would give their firstborn for. That much space? That long of a dining table! Sign us up.
A quiet, serene, calming bedroom. We love all white bedding – there’s nothing more soothing, and nothing more classic. Those fur pillows add an element of warmth to the space, whcih could otherwise feel a bit sterile.
This is a closet even Carrie Bradshaw would be jealous of. Enough said.
