When we were younger, we’d eat most of our meals at our kitchen counter, our feet dangling over the edges of wooden bar stools while we munched on baby carrots and filled our stomaches with Annie’s Mac and Cheese. While our feet no longer dangle, we’re still big fans of eating our meals at the kitchen counter. There’s something about having breakfast at a breakfast bar, of sitting alongside your dining companions instead of across from them.
