Want to Sleep Better? First, Create the Perfect Bedtime Routine
Having a relaxing bedtime routine is crucial to winding down and getting in the right mindset to go to sleep. But don’t only dream up the perfect bedtime routine, stick with it too! Keeping a consistent routine will help your body recognize when it’s bedtime, which can help you fall asleep more quickly.
We recommend starting your routine about 30-60 minutes before you hit the hay. Your routine can include anything that helps you relax! Need some ideas? Try taking a warm bubble bath or curling up with a good book.

For the Deeper, Better-Quality Sleep, Be Sure to Unplug
Make sure you include unplugging early on in your nighttime routine! You’ve probably heard this before, but it’s definitely worth mentioning–screens and sleep are beyond incompatible.
Our cell phones and laptops create stimulation in the brain that is hard to switch off while also generating blue light that can decrease melatonin production.
In fact, we recommend making it a habit to sleep with your phone out of reach. Keeping it off your nightstand means it will be out of the way, especially when you can’t sleep.

Set the Mood for Sweet Dreams
Creating the right, cozy bedroom environment is like offering yourself a personal invitation to relax and doze off. Before you head to bed, make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature for you. We also recommend filling the room with calming scents, like lavender, to help you drift into sleep more easily.
Lastly, make sure your bedroom has heavy curtains or implement a chic eye mask to prevent morning sunlight from interrupting your sleep.

Set Yourself Up For Sleep
Lastly, make sure you are using bedding you absolutely love! Think about it, the sheets and your crisp duvet are the first thing your skin touches when you get into bed, so it’s beneficial to make sure that your bedding meets your needs and preferences.
This goes for your mattress and pillow as well! The right sleeping surface is necessary for a comfortable sleep, so choose the best mattress and pillow for you.
