Is it just us, or has this winter been dragging on FOREVER? It’s March, and yet, here we are in New York City, still living in frigid temperatures and praying for the first vestiges of Spring to grace us with their presence. We suppose what they say about March is true: it certainly comes in like a lion. We can only hope it goes out like a lamb. In the meantime, we’ve got winter on the brain, and with that, rustic lodge style.
What is Rustic Lodge Style?
Rustic lodge decor is all about celebrating the beauty of natural materials, melding richly woven textiles with sumptuous leather and recaimed wood. Rustic Lodge Details and Decor
Next, we’ve got a classic armchair. Rustic lodge decor is all about natural materials, but take care not to decorate the entire space in wood tones. To break up the look, we’ve gone with an armchair that has a hint of British Industrial to it. Upholstered in cotton velvet, this piece has classic European lines, with a hint of edge. No room is complete without a mirror, and to keep things feeling natural, we’ve chosen one framed in mangrove wood – it’s the perfect way to bring the outside in.
