Hi there cuties! Before we get into faves for the month, I have to first say that I am so thrilled that spring is officially right around the corner. I am so ready for spring blooms, sunny days, and all of the happy feelings this new season brings with it…and, as I am every month, I am so excited to share the things I’ve been loving recently.
“In addition to prepping for spring, I’ve really been enjoying the month of March and celebrating Women’s History Month! I love taking this month as an opportunity to share that, at Kathy Kuo Home, we value being a women-led business with 60% of all employees are female and, out of our managers and above, 70% are female.”
In keeping with that theme, we also were thrilled to participate in a really fun Women’s History month content series with our friends at Dagne Dover, and a spring giveaway campaign with all women-led brands, hosted by our friends at Cheree Berry Paper. Read on to learn more!
Kathy’s March Favorite: #1: Stationery from Cheree Berry Paper (Plus, a Giveaway on Instagram!)
If you’re in search of gorgeous, cheerful, and designed-with-love paper goods for your next suite of invitations or thank-you cards, look no further than Cheree Berry Paper! Since launching in 2006, Cheree Berry has been a standout in the designer paper good space, and has been beloved by celebs like Martha Stewart, Chelsea Clinton, Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling, and more! Cheree’s work has even been part of the holiday decor at the White House!
When we had the opportunity to team up with Cheree Berry and great group of other beloved women-owned brands—August Morgan, Estelle Colored Glass, Jane Win, Oliphant, Sue Sartor, and Weezie Towels—on a super-fun giveaway to celebrate Women’s History Month, of course the answer was yes!
“Be sure to visit our Instagram page from March 15-19, 2024 to learn more about how to enter to win over $2,000 in fabulous prizes (including a KKH gift card)!”

Kathy’s March Favorite #2: Women’s History Month Content with Dagne Dover
Another one my absolute fave women-owned brands is Dagne Dover. Founded in 2013 by three women from different backgrounds with the goal of making bags built for truly living life (that is, beautifully designed pieces that are also super-functional). Aside from how chic all of Dagne Dover’s pieces are, I also love that the brand takes sustainability seriously!
I had a chance to collaborate with the Dagne Dover founders on a series of really fun videos for Women’s History Month alongside several other amazing female founders from different industries. See the kickoff video below and be sure to head over to the DD IG to catch the rest!

Kathy’s MarchFavorite #3: Byredo Beauty & Fragrance
I always enjoy sharing my personal fave beauty and fragrance brands with you all (and I love that so many of you ask on IG about the products I use—keep the questions coming!). One brand that I have been loving lately is Byredo. If they’re not on your radar yet, don’t worry…they will be!
Byredo is a European luxury beauty brand “with an ambition to translate memories and emotions into products and experiences.” I love the level of quality with their products and I appreciate how much care they take with developing the unqiue and emotionally centered scents they use for their candles, fragrances, lotions, and bath products.

Kathy’s MarchFavorite #4: All Things Green from KKH
You didn’t think I forgot about St. Patrick’s Day did you? Since the greenest of holidays is right around the corner, I thought why not spotlight some of the beautifully green pieces we have in the KKH assortment? Of course, you all know that I have the sage green Madeline sofa in my own home and love it.
If you’re looking to add a pop of green to your home this month (you wouldn’t want the Leprechaun of home design to pinch you on March 17!) take a look at some of the verdant standouts below. And if you find that gold at the end of the rainbow, be sure to put it in your home refresh fund!

Kathy’s MarchFavorite #5: What You Do Is Who You Are: How to Create Your Business Culture by Ben Horowitz
Finally, as always, I will end my monthly Faves list with a book! I feel like I always have a business book of some sort on my nightstand so that I can always be soaking up new ideas and strategies for success. Lately, I have been a big fan of What You Do Is Who You Are, by author and venture capitalist Ben Horowitz.
The guiding theme of this book is about how there are so many lessons from history that manifest in modern day. The book looks at case studies of leaders we all know in politics and business throughout the ages (from Genghis Khan to Hillary Clinton to Reed Hastings at Netflix) and pulls out examples that prove that our values are not about statements, they’re about how we act and treat people.
